HOW TO: Manage Your Account

Step 1: Navigate to your Account Dashboard

Then, once you’ve logged in, you’ll see your Account Dasbhoard!

Desktop:

We’ll use the desktop version from here on out! Mobile should be relatively similar

Step 2: Account Dashboard Overview

There’s a lot here, so lets get started with an overview!

  1. The Account Dashboard menu is used to navigate the Account Dashboard
  2. This card contains information about your profile. You can press “view profile >” in the top right of it to view more information
  3. The Activity card contains information about your activity on other parts of our site, allowing you to easily navigate to your Events Dashboard in the Calendar (HOW TO: List an Event on SceneIT) or your Seller Dashboard in the Market (HOW TO: List an item on the SceneIT Market)
  4. The Sweepstakes card lets you easily know if there are any Daily Login Sweepstakes you can currently be participating in – Check here regularly for cool prizes!!
  5. These quick-action buttons allow you to easily dive into creating an event or item listing!
  6. The Saved card displays the items you have saved in each section of our site! Services and Local&Live coming soon 🙂
  7. The Subscriptions card shows you your active subscriptions on SceneIT – particularly helpful if you have multiple businesses

Step 3: Manage your profile and login information

Here, you can edit your account info and change your password!

Hover over the sidebar and expand the dropdown for Profile Settings. Then open the Account Details page:

Here, you can see all your account info! I don’t have much

You can also use the Edit account or Change password buttons to do either of those respective activities. You can also Verify your email here – the Green ✔️ next to mine is showing that mine is already verified! Here’s what it’ll look like if yours isn’t:

And simply pressing the Verify button will take you to a pop-up that will allow you to do this!

Step 4: Manage your billing settings

This section allows you to see active subscriptions on your account, previous invoices, associated payment methods, and more!

First, lets go to the Overview:

Here, you can see basic information about yourself stored in our payment processor, including:

  • Your name & email
  • Your Billing Address (edit with 🖊️)
  • Your Default Payment Method (can be set on the payment methods page)
  • Your Outstanding Balance (if this is positive, your balance will automatically be applied to future subscriptions!!)

You also have a few more tabs here!

  • Payments allows you to Add, Update, and Remove payment methods to your account, including Setting a default payment method
  • Subscriptions shows you all your currently active subscriptions and what businesses they apply to
  • Invoices shows you your invoice history with us

Step 6: Daily Actions

The Daily Actions page shows you all the actions you can take today on our site. Entering a sweepstakes, voting on your favorite pizza chain in the Des Moines Area, and more – it’s all easily findable here!

First, hover over the sidebar and press the Daily Actions button:

Step 7: Delete Account

Looking to delete your account? We’re sad to see you go!

To do this, hover over the sidebar. You’ll see an orange button at the bottom of the screen that says Delete Account:

Pressing this will bring up this pop-up!

If you truly want to delete your account, press Delete Account
